Yeah, well, we've been around the block...done a few things. We don't wanna brag
but we do have some credits. Here they are. You can go

The Long Version:

Pat Katzmann and Barry Katzmann have extensive experience
in all types of writing including nonfiction trade books, radio/
television/film scripts, interactive multimedia (Web sites, CD-
ROMs, etc.), newsletters, promotional materials, press releases,
and advertising copywriting for print (magazine and newspaper),
catalogs, brochures, collateral, radio and television. Barry has created
many successful direct response, print, broadcast and promotion/
advertising campaigns, and Pat has hands-on experience in direct
marketing book promotion, having created numerous print advertise-
ments and merchandise items for national publishers, plus catalogs
for a regional (12 Western states) book distributor.

The Katzmanns are also proficient in marketing, public relations,
publicity, and advertising, having run their own successful commun-
ications firm. Prior to joining forces, they had been employed by such
companies as Cannon Films, McCann-Erickson Advertising, Campbell-
Mithun/Esty Advertising, LoweBiocore Advertising, Combio, both the
"San Francisco Chronicle" and "San Francisco Examiner," Last Gasp
Publishing, L-S Distributors (books), Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, and others.

Right now, Pat is a Senior Editor for LookSmart, an Internet
search directory/engine.

Pat has also served as Electronic Publications Editor/Senior Writer
for CMAnet (www.cmanet.org), the nation's largest state medical association
Website, and writer for monthly "California Physician" magazine. CMAnet
content includes articles, interviews with noteworthy state physicians, as well
as CA DoctorFinder, which locates physicians and provides destination maps.

From September 1997 to April 1998, both Pat and Barry contributed to Berkeley
Systemsâ "Don't Touch That Dial," a forthcoming CD-ROM quiz show trivia
game (in the style of "You Don't Know Jack"). Pat and Barry helped develop
the content concept and wrote sketches and questions for this soon-to-be-released
software game.

From 6/90 through 11/91, Pat and Barry served as Editors/Senior Writers for the
Berkeley Pop Culture Project. They were responsible for the planning, writing, editing,
design, photography and production of "The Whole Pop Catalog," a 608-page trade
paperback book published by Avon Books in November 1991.

Since 1992, Barry has had articles published in the San Francisco "Giants" magazine,
"The Sporting News: and "The Express." Pat has reviewed books for the "San
Francisco Chronicle" since 1988, and for the "East Bay Express" since 1992. Her
feature articles have appeared in "Giants" magazine, the "San Francisco Bay Guardian,"
the "East Bay Express," "California Physician" magazine and "Cartoon Times."

Pat and Barry also wrote "The Blockbusters of Rhythm & Blues" for Eclipse
Books (1993). Their next book, "TV Dinners" (originally a scheduled to be a Berkley/Boulevard
release from Penguin Putnam) will be published at a future date.

Most recently, Barry has written and edited two books for Ronin Publishing, "The Little Book
of Ketamine" (1999) and "Growing Marijuana Hydroponically" (2000). He also contributed to
the Millennium Edition of Trivial Pursuit.
